Pull up a chair

TableRule is a new game publisher, and this is the first thing we have ever put on the internet. So: hello.

We make fast card and board games. The kind you can explain in two minutes, finish in twenty, and then immediately play again because someone claims they were robbed. That "again" is the whole point. It is the reason this exists, and it is the bar every game has to clear before it leaves our table.

The first one is called Lord Peasant. It plays 3 to 6, runs about twenty minutes, and has already caused one genuine argument in a kitchen in Toruń. It is a climbing game about hierarchy: win a round and you sit at the top of the table next time, lose and you pay tribute to whoever is above you. Simple to teach, unpleasant in the best way.

Between now and launch we will post the unglamorous parts here. Prototypes held together with sleeve inserts. Playtests that went badly. Rules we were certain about until six people proved otherwise. If you would rather not keep checking back, put your email on the list and we will tell you the day the Kickstarter goes live.
