Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data TableRule Games collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to satisfy the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Polish Personal Data Protection Act.
The short version: we collect your email address only if you type it into our signup form, we use it only to tell you about our games, we do not sell it or share it with anyone outside our email provider, and you can leave at any time using the link in every message.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Maciej Stankiewicz, trading as TableRule Games, Toruń 87-100, Poland. For any question about your data, write to hello@tablerule.com.
What we collect and why
Your email address, and nothing else, when you join the launch list. We use it to send occasional updates about our games and to tell you when a Kickstarter campaign goes live.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given when you tick the consent box on our signup form.
We also record the date of your signup, because we are required to be able to demonstrate that consent was given.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until you ask us to delete your data. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of the unsubscribe itself so that we do not accidentally contact you again.
Who else sees it
Your email address is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Cloudflare, Inc.), the same provider that hosts this website, acting as a data processor on our behalf. If you receive a confirmation email from us, it is sent through Kit (Kit.com, Inc., United States), which we use as our email delivery processor. Transfers to Kit outside the European Economic Area are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as IP addresses in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build profiles.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. We do not track you across websites. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and your IP address is visible to them for the duration of that request.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can, at any time:
- ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to how we process it
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent, which does not affect processing that already happened

If you believe we are handling your data improperly, you can complain to the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting the launch list will also be announced by email.
